The Monocollant Antithrombosis Stocking 18-24 MmHG from the Italian company Piazza are used for the first time after operations or in cases where the patient stays in bed for many hours to prevent thrombosis.
The postoperative stockings have a high content of cotton (for this reason the postoperative socks are white) in order to better ventilate the feet during use.
